George Harliono, Second Prize winner of the 2023 Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition, is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young pianists on the global stage. Known for his commanding technique and deeply expressive artistry, the British-Indonesian pianist is winning over audiences and critics alike with his bold musical voice and emotional depth.

Harliono’s rapid rise has drawn praise from legendary pianist Denis Matsuev, who described him as “very talented, he’s got a phenomenal career ahead of him.” His performances have been described as “nothing short of astonishing” by The Telegraph, which called him “a formidable young pianist with both technique and heart.”
