The first four classical piano concerts of the Steinway Society’s 24th Season have been wonderful. Full houses, appreciative audiences, and INCREDIBLE artists: Zlata Chochieva, Manasse/Nakamatsu Duo, Henry Kramer, Sandra Wright Shen.
Each artist brought a distinctly different program, and each was enthusiastically received, all of them receiving thunderous standing ovations. As we close out 2018, it seemed appropriate to post a few pictures.
Two of the photos below show the audiences are at our “home theater” – the lovely Trianon Theatre in downtown San Jose. They are of standing ovations for Zlata Chochieva and Sandra Wright Shen.
The other two photos show Nancy Jensen, Steinway Society’s Artistic Director. One of the photos is with Henry Kramer. The other photo is Nancy with Jon Manasse and Jon Nakamatsu, and you’ll also see board member Don Wright. Don is instrumental on the artistic committee in vetting the artists we present.
