About the Artist
Website

The New York Times described one of *Enrique Graf*’s appearances as “a triumph, in all respects” and The Washington Post has called him “memorable, elegant, masterful, refined.”

A native of Uruguay, Enrique Graf wears many different musical hats, and has garnered respect and accolades from colleagues and audiences around the world. His performances include solo and duo-piano recitals, chamber music, and appearances with orchestras world-wide. He is currently on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon University. He frequently serves as a competition jury member and is much in demand for master classes.

His latest recording, an all Poulenc CD, was a pick of the month by the _Sunday London Times_ and was awarded five stars in _Classic CD_. His debut recording _Enrique Graf Plays Bach_ was called “an end to the discussion of whether or not Bach should be played on the piano” by Paul Hume of the _Washington Post_. Recordings of the Liszt Sonata and the Grieg and two Beethoven Concertos have received such praise as “ideal performances” (_Fanfare_).
