At Steinway Society – The Bay Area, we value our volunteers. Our team includes educators, doctors, music professionals, and arts leaders. We welcome everyone—students, retirees, and music lovers.
There are many ways to get involved—help with concerts, publicity, fundraising, or community performances. If you want to bring excellence in piano performance to Silicon Valley, we’d love to meet you!
Your contributions are crucial for our small arts organization, and your efforts in bringing acclaimed international pianists to our community will have a lasting impact. In addition, students can earn credit, build resumes, or gain community service hours.

Our needs include:
- Social Media Support – Help us post information, photos and videos about our events on Facebook and Instagram.
- Videographer – Create short videos for social media. Let our marketing team know if you have experience in this area. Email us.
- Writing – Want to write a story about a pianist, the piano or classical music? If piano is your area of expertise, and you understand social media, we’d love to have you submit an occasional article. Email us.
- Sponsorships – Help us put together a compelling story to take to businesses so that they understand the connection between Steinway Society and the success of their organizations. For instance, playing the piano and listening to classical music helps develop the cognitive skills that make business leaders stronger leaders and employees better problem solvers. We’d like to find companies to help support Steinway Society’s contributions.
